The method
How AstraFlow works
AstraFlow is an AI companion for astrology-grounded journaling. The chart is the hypothesis, your journal is the evidence, and awareness is the method.
AstraFlow does not predict, forecast, or tell you when to act. It counts what already happened — in your words — and shows which of your habits went with the better days.
Your chart proposes a habit
Not a prediction — a starting frame. A deterministic lookup reads your chart and surfaces two short lists: what to lean into, drawn from your soul-signifier and your well-placed planets, and what to release, drawn from where the chart carries debt. No language model invents these. The same chart always returns the same habits, and every habit arrives with a plain name anyone would recognise: a gratitude note, one line before sleep.
You choose what to carry
You pick from that list, or from the wider catalogue, and nothing tracks until you say so. Five at a time, deliberately — a registry you can hold in your head beats one you stop reading.
You write your day in your own words
No checkboxes, no streak nag. You write what happened. The companion reads your entry for mentions of what you are carrying and records what it finds: done, partial, skipped, struggled, avoided. It also records two things most trackers throw away — whether you brought it up yourself or only answered when asked, and whether you said it helped, hurt, or made no difference.
The count stays honest
Two numbers, never blended: how well it went on the days we know about, and how often we know anything at all. Three proud mentions is a perfect record across a tenth of your month, and the system says exactly that rather than showing you a flattering number. Miss a stretch of days and the streak freezes instead of breaking — a gap in the record is not a failure, it is a gap in the record.
It notices what you never signed up for
Mention something three times across two weeks as having helped — a walk, a call to someone, an early night — and the companion offers to start tracking it. This is the part the chart cannot do: the habit came from your life, not your birth data. Decline and it waits a month before asking again.
The pattern surfaces — with the receipt
This is where the loop closes. Your journalled days get grouped by how the sky stood relative to your own Moon, and the companion counts how those days actually went in your words. Below five real instances it shows you nothing at all rather than a thin claim. And a hard count is never handed over alone: it arrives beside the habits you were practising on those days, so you can see what went with what. That is a correlation on your own record — AstraFlow does not claim the habit caused the change. Often the honest answer is that a difficult kind of day barely registers for you — and that gets said just as plainly.
The push adapts, and safety always wins
How much the companion asks of you is calibrated on the last week of your own entries. Above that sits a gate with absolute precedence: when your recent entries run low, or when there is simply not enough signal to be sure, the companion moves to support and stays there — no push, no effort framing. The chart can shade the tone within safe ground. It can never argue you into effort, and it is forbidden from rationalising pain as something the stars require.
What this rules out
- No forecasts. Nothing here tells you what will happen, or which day will go well. A day's character is described only after you have lived it and written it down.
- No percentages on a state of you. Energy, moods, the centers of the body — a groove has no percentage, and nothing here will ever call a part of you “blocked.” Where a reading does carry a rating, it rates a quality you can work on — never a verdict on who you are.
- No fear, and no paid relief from it. There is no misfortune to avert here, so there is nothing to sell you as the cure. The framework, the map and your core patterns are free to read.
- No claim without a receipt. Below five real instances the companion shows you the general story instead of a pattern, because a thin claim dressed as evidence is worse than no claim.
