A father’s reading, one story at a time
This show is simple: a father explaining the Bhagavad Gita to his two sons. The story is told as the living tradition tells it; the reading of each character as a force inside a person is the speaker’s own, in the line of Paramahansa Yogananda’s commentary, and is offered as a framework to think with, not as fact.
Episode 1: The Game of Delusion
The dice game at Hastinapura, told as the tradition tells it, and read as the game that is still played on every phone: how early wins keep a person at the table, and what one small act of goodness does when it is needed.

Before the battlefield, the family: Shantanu, Ganga, Satyavati, Bhishma, the two brothers and their sons, told once as a story and once as a map of the forces living inside a person.

Each episode is told once, in the order of the story, and then read as a map of what happens inside a person. The story keeps the tradition's words; the inner reading is the speaker's own and is labelled as such. Where texts and retellings differ, the notes at the end of each episode say so.
The spoken episodes are on the JyoLing YouTube channel. The text here is the recording script, so the page and the video say the same thing.
After an episode.
Each episode ends with one practice for the week. If you want somewhere to keep it, AstraFlow's Journal takes one line a day and asks nothing else; the free reading is there when you are curious about your own chart, and a question for someone in your life is under Connections. None of it is required to follow the series.
