Start with the recorded details.

Elvis Presley was born on 8 January 1935 in Tupelo, Mississippi. Graceland documents the date and place. Astro-Databank lists a birth time of 4:35 a.m. CST and rates its record AA, with “BC/BR in hand” as the source category. The rating describes the birth-data source, not the validity of an astrological interpretation.

The calculated sidereal chart.

With Lahiri ayanamsa and whole-sign houses, the Ascendant is Scorpio, the Sun is Sagittarius and the Moon is Aquarius. The Moon falls in Shatabhisha, pada 1. A tropical chart uses another zodiac reference and can therefore show different sign names.

Lahiri sidereal placements. Degrees are rounded to the nearest arcminute; divisions use unrounded longitudes.

How a placement becomes a question.

The calculated Moon is in the fourth whole-sign house. In the house vocabulary used in AstraFlow’s Emotional Field guide, this introduces home, belonging and inner steadiness as themes to explore. That is an interpretive choice made after the calculation; it is not a measurement of how Elvis felt.

An illustrative reflection

“What gives you a sense of home when much of your life happens in public?”

This prompt is an editorial example of the method, not a quotation from Elvis or a conclusion drawn from his biography. A full personal story needs the applicable chart rules and their review conditions; one placement cannot supply the whole reading.

In your own Journal, you could describe a real situation, what you noticed and whether a chosen response helped. We have no Journal observations from Elvis and do not manufacture them. His success, relationships and life events are not used here as proof that the chart predicted them.

The app, screen by screen.

Every card below was made from the recorded birth details on a demo account AstraFlow holds, by the same code a customer's chart goes through. For each screen: what you see, in the app's own words; what it asks you to do; where it lives. Under the readings, the public record: where the line fits, where it plainly does not, and what the app would do with that answer.

Why the misses are the point.

A reading that fit everyone would say nothing, so after every part the app asks one question: does this resemble your experience? Your answer never changes what the chart says; the line and its receipt stay as written. It changes what the app does next: a part marked not in my experience stops leading, the practice it suggested steps back, the next question comes from a part you confirmed. On this page the fit answers are blank, because the only person who could give them is gone.

Captures from the demo account on 2 November 2026. The header, the sky strip and the Season dates run on that day's clock, which means nothing for him; they are shown for the form of the cards, never their content.

  1. Energy page: Anuradha, the Follower, and the opening story
Energy · signature and opening story
    See

Anuradha, the Follower: "loyal and resilient, often at your best when things are hard. Letting people in is where you tend to grow." Then the opening story: comes alive with depth; growth through friends, networks and shared aims, later than you would like.

    Do

Read. Nothing is asked on this card; the questions start with the hypotheses below.

    Where

    Energy, top of the page

    Against the record

    fits

Loyalty and resilience: the same circle of friends and staff for twenty years; military service taken straight, 1958 to 1960.

    miss

"Arrive later than you would like": a first single in 1954, national television in 1956, at twenty-one. Nothing about it was late.

    open

"Letting people in is where you grow": by most accounts he was never alone and rarely let anyone in. Fit or miss depends on who tells it.

Then: A miss here changes nothing in the reading. It would make "how you tend to grow" the last thread asked about, and the first shown with its receipt.

  2. Energy page: pattern at a glance, three threads and deeper layers
Energy · pattern at a glance
    See

The same reading as labelled lines: what may bring you alive, a grounding rhythm, recurring themes, three threads, two deeper layers. Under it, where this comes from: one stronger capacity (duty, time and labour), one that may need development (wisdom).

    Do

Open "Why this?" for the chart facts behind the capacities. Everything on the screen has a receipt.

    Where

    Energy, below the opening story

    Against the record

    fits

"What you value, your voice, your people" as where purpose seeks expression. The voice is the one fact nobody disputes.

    miss

"Something to investigate, transform or master": he did not write or produce, and by his own circle's accounts chafed at the films rather than mastering them.

  3. Energy page: the Work hypothesis with the journaling card beside it
Energy · Work, with the journaling card
    See

"Your way of working", a hypothesis to test, not a job prediction. Start, push through, finish; carrying your own risk and keeping your own upside; when strained, haste ahead of judgement. Beside it, the only ask: a moment to notice, when urgency pushes you to act before you have decided.

    Do

Tap Often · Sometimes · Not in my experience · Not sure yet. Then Start in Journal, which opens a fourteen-day experiment with that moment as its check-in.

    Where

Energy › Your reading › Work

    Against the record

    fits

Start, push through, finish: the 1968 television special and the Las Vegas residency after it were pushed through against advice.

    miss

"Carrying your own risk and keeping your own upside": from 1967 his manager took half of his earnings, and in 1973 the rights to his recorded catalogue were sold outright.

Then: Had he tapped not in my experience on Work, the Work moment would stop leading; the Relationships or Money moment would head the Journal hook instead.

  4. Energy page: the Relationships hypothesis
    Energy · Relationships
    See

"Closest when there is affection, ease and care for the small pleasures you share. When strained, keeping the peace can come before saying what is true, and you may give more than you say." The footer: this reading says nothing about when to commit, leave or stay.

    Do

One fit tap; a moment to notice (when you go along with something to keep the peace); a safety link that is always on this card.

    Where

Energy › Your reading › Relationships

    Against the record

    fits

"You may give more than you say": the gifts are the best-documented habit of his adult life, cars and houses given to friends and strangers.

    open

"Keeping the peace before saying what is true" is how his marriage is described in the memoir written about it. One account; the app would call it a single signal.

  5. Energy page: the Money hypothesis
    Energy · Money
    See

"Hold resources best with a long view, where what you keep also serves learning and generosity. When strained, giving can outrun what is steady, and hope can run ahead of the numbers."

    Do

One fit tap; the moment to notice is when you are about to promise more than you have planned for.

    Where

Energy › Your reading › Money

    Against the record

    fits

"Giving can outrun what is steady": the estate was close to insolvent at his death despite two decades of record earnings; Graceland opened to the public in 1982 to pay its bills.

    miss

"A long view" on resources: there was none. The strained half of the reading describes him; the holding half does not.

Then: This is the normal case, half a card fitting. The app keeps both halves and asks about the whole; it never scores a card as "60% right".

  6. Home: the sky today and your rhythm today
Home · the sky today and your rhythm (2026 clock; shown for the form)
    See

The sky, the same for everyone, with traditional names one tap away. Then your rhythm: your Moon's star (Shatabhisha, the Solitary Healer: the seclusion) meets today's.

    Do

Open "Why this today?" for the rule. Nothing to answer.

    Where

    Home › Today, top

    Against the record

Today's sky cannot be matched to a life that ended in 1977. Left blank on purpose.

  7. Home: Your Moon pattern closed, with the facts in short on the right, and One signal from you
Home · Your Moon pattern, closed, and one signal from you
    See

The part of the pattern today's Moon leans on, whole; the same facts in short on the right; the fit question under it. Then one signal: "What feels tightly held today?" with Nothing yet and Not sure as real answers.

    Do

Two taps at most. Both go to the Journal with the Moon at that moment. Silence is no data.

    Where

Home › Today, under the rhythm card

  8. Your Moon pattern: emotional foundation in traditional names, with the chart facts open
Moon pattern · foundation, traditional names, receipts open
    See

Feels through Aquarius · lives in the fourth house · its star Shatabhisha · sits with Saturn, looked at by Jupiter. The paragraph: most yourself at home, most unsettled when home is unsettled; you may need space before you can settle. The receipt line under "Why this?" is the whole evidence.

    Do

Read the part, tap a fit answer, or Ask Sathi about this part, which opens the companion with a neutral line and no astrology.

    Where

Home › Today › Your Moon pattern › The other three parts

    Against the record

    fits

"Most unsettled when home is unsettled": he bought Graceland for his parents in 1957; his mother's death the next year is the event his own circle names as the one he never recovered from.

    fits

"Space before you can settle": the last decade behind the gates is the other thing everyone knows.

Then: Two fits on one part do not strengthen the reading; the line is written once from the chart. They would make this part lead, and its practice would be offered first.

  9. The same foundation part in plain words
Moon pattern · the same part, plain words
    See

Same facts, same receipts; only the words change. "The sign of ideas and the wider group", "the star of healing space", "the pull that makes feelings slow to admit" stand where Aquarius, Shatabhisha and Saturn stood.

    Do

Pick the register once; the whole app follows it. A person who wants no planet names never has to see one.

    Where

The Words switch at the top of the open pattern

  10. What we will watch, and why: one question a day and one practice
Moon pattern · what we'll watch, and why
    See

The reading turned into a direction: one question a day and one practice, notice before reacting, reviewed after fourteen days. "We never read your mood from your activity; only what you tell us counts."

    Do

Try this practice, Manage your practices, or Not now. All three are remembered; none is nagged.

    Where

Bottom of the open Moon pattern

    Against the record

    fits

"Reaching for the next thing before this one has landed" (the care part above this card): the pace of the last years, a thousand shows in eight years, is the record itself.

Then: This is the card his answers would have reshaped most. A confirmed care part keeps the care-day question; a denied one swaps it for the return-day question, and the practice changes with it.

  11. Season: where you are, and the chapter at a glance
Season · where you are, chapter at a glance (2026 clock)
    See

Era and chapter as two chips with dates and an element; "time elapsed, not progress". One line that holds the chapter, one fit answer for the whole summary, one line of your own that no person reads.

    Do

One tap on the summary; one optional line. The answer never changes what the chart says; it changes what is suggested and what asks first.

Counted across the readings above, against facts in the public record. The count is the honest result, and it is the reason the app does not keep one.

7

lines a reader would call a fit: home and its loss, space before settling, giving more than you say, giving outrunning what is steady, push through and finish, the voice, the pace of the last years.

4

lines that plainly do not fit: growth arriving late, keeping your own upside, a long view on resources, something to master.

4

that depend on who tells it or cannot be matched at all: letting people in, keeping the peace, and everything on the 2026 clock.

Seven to four reads well until you notice two things. The fits are vivid because the life is known; put the same reading beside a stranger's biography and you would find as many. And the misses are not the chart being wrong. The rules produce possibilities, which is all they claim, and a possibility that fails is information the app can use only if someone says so.

That is the whole design. A person taps not in my experience, the line stays on the page with its receipt, and the app stops leading with it. Over fourteen days of taps, the parts that lead are the ones that resembled the days. Nothing was predicted; something was noticed.

After fourteen days: the inner measurement.

A wearable measures the outside of a day: steps, sleep, heart rate. The Journal measures the inside, in your own taps, with the same discipline: every number has a denominator, silence is no data, nothing is netted into a score. This is what a record looks like after two weeks. Example data, invented for this page. The demo account has no record; the counts are chosen to show the shapes.

The sleep row is the comparison this section is about. A wearable would show the same fortnight from the outside and would have no idea that the three heavy evenings were a plan, a worry and an old hurt. AstraFlow never reads mood from activity, steps or sleep; only what you tell us counts. The two rows can sit side by side in your own hands; they are never joined by us.

Notice before reacting · done on 9 of 14 days

On the 9 days you did it, the evening read steady or bright 7 times. On the 5 days you didn't, 2 times. Association, not proof: fourteen days is a small record, and the days you did it may have been easier days. The experiment is ready to review; you decide whether it stays, changes, or goes.

Did it · 9 days7 of 9
Didn't · 5 days2 of 5

A comparison is shown only when both sides have enough days and the person has consented to it; otherwise the row says "your record may still be forming". A subscription adds more experiments and these comparisons; it never adds observations.

This is the pivot in numbers. The chart said reaching for the next thing before this one has landed; a record, had he kept one, would have shown on which evenings that was true and whether one small practice changed anything. Where the record disagrees with the chart, the record wins; the app says so on every Energy card.

Start with your own chart → · How the loop works

Taking a reading into your Journal.

Nothing on the reading pages is kept unless you take it somewhere. The Journal is where it goes, and there are exactly three doors in.

  1. From a reading. Every Energy area ends with Start in Journal; the open Moon pattern ends with Try this practice. Either opens Journal › Today with that practice already filled in. For his pattern that would have been notice before reacting, with the moment to notice as its check-in.
  2. From the catalogue. Journal › Explore holds the practice library in AstraFlow's own words, reviewed, with no named techniques. Pick one and the same chooser appears.
  3. Your own. Journal › My practices › Add. You write it; the app never reads the words. A routine you already keep, a small thing you want to try, a question to ask yourself.

The chooser · "What is this for you?"

Keep doing it regularly

We only ask whether you did it, on the days you choose. A routine. His evening look-back would be one.

Try it and notice how it leaves me

For 14 days we also ask what you noticed afterward. An experiment. This is the one that produces the careful comparison above.

Do it once

No daily question. Mark it done when it is finished.

Save for later

It waits in your Journal until you decide.

Room for three experiments at a time, one per area; routines are not capped. The daily ask stays inside one budget whatever you add, so six practices never become six questions. No streaks; an unanswered day is a day without an answer.

Then the four tabs do the rest: Today serves what is due and one question at a time; Explore is the catalogue; My practices is where you pause, reopen or change anything; Insights is the record shown above, counts with denominators and never a score. One line of your own can be kept on any card. It reaches Sathi, the companion, only if you take it there; no person reads it.

The thinking behind it.

The chart is a lens; the practice is the point. The app is built on one idea, that a thought held and acted on changes how a life is lived, and on four talks by Brother Anandamoy of Self-Realization Fellowship that we paraphrase and credit. AstraFlow is not affiliated with SRF; the product choices are ours.

Notice the thought

Your Thoughts Can Change Your Life. Become aware of the thought you keep returning to. In the app: the one signal a day, the fit question, and the line you write in your own words. Nothing is scored; something is noticed.

Choose a small action

Dynamic Will Can Change Your Life. Calm, sustained effort rather than a wish. In the app: one practice for fourteen days, the smallest version counted, no streak.

Choose your words

The Liberating Power of Affirmation. Repeated thought, used deliberately. In the app: the line you keep is yours and stays as written; the register switch lets you choose plain words or traditional names for everything the app says to you.

Reflect on the experience

Right Attitude Toward Life's Experiences. What an experience can teach about your response to it. In the app: the review after fourteen days, Looking back on a chapter, and the record that outranks the chart.

The 75/25 lens

Our 75/25 lens expresses the relationship between patterns already in motion and conscious choice. Inspired by Paramahansa Yogananda’s teachings on karma and free will, it is a spiritual framing, not calculated odds or a score of your ability to change.

On the Home tab it reads: the chart describes the 75%, the pattern already in motion; your 25% is the awareness, choice and practice that can change how it is lived.

How the pieces fit, in one loop: understand a reading in plain words with its receipts open; notice whether it resembles your days and say so; practise one small thing, or simply keep observing; review your own record and decide what stays. The five elements, from space to earth, give the loop its stages, a thought appearing in awareness, willed, put into words, carried by feeling, done by the body; one act, five elements.
